  2. We are offered many opportunities to join God in what He is doing. As parents, we get to accept His offer to join Him in raising His babies. Wow! To be entrusted with the caring of His beloved babies, is a great honor. We get to love them, hold them, encourage them, enjoy celebrating their milestones in life, and rejoice when they choose to accept the gift of salvation that the Lord planned for them. We were designed for fellowship with God. This DNA for relationship binds us tightly to our family and friends, making it extremely difficult to release our children back to their maker. His ways are not our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). He ultimately allows His purposes to be fulfilled through our circumstances and delights when we respond in ways that point others to the Truth of His love for us. He is still answering Prayers! He is still Healing! He is still Saving! He is still Providing! He is still Restoring! He is still Reconciling relationships! He is still the Almighty God who created Heaven and Earth and everything in it! He still has the Power to move the mole hills and mountains in our lives! He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow (Hebrews 13:8)! May these circumstances draw a watching world to You, Lord, and the Truth that, even when we didn't believe in Christ and lived sinful lives(Romans 5:8), Jesus took the punishment for our sins so that we could join You in the Heavenly place that You have prepared for us, Amen. Lord, You have a captive audience growing to watch and see You at work in this family's life. We surrender to Your Sovereignty throughout this journey. Matthew 18:14, "Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish."
